Sophie was 5 months old when I collected her from Border Collie Rescue near Brighton. It wasn't long before we realised what an affectionate character she was, She adored people, especially children, (weird dog!!!) and was gentle with everyone.

She was very athletic, so Agility came easily to her, but her extremely laid-back nature meant she never quite saw the necessity for racing against the clock. She still managed to accumulate a fair number of rosettes in her time, and was a very reliable team dog, as she could be counted on to go clear, even if her time was slower. She was also excellent as part of Agility Display Teams, as she would run with any handler, even children.

She was my Mum's favorite dog, as they spent so much time together.
